Account Executive
Responsibilities: To identify, develop and close a targeted list of key accounts, with responsibility for all phases of the sales process. The candidate is also expected to support marketing and tradeshow activities, maintain customer satisfaction through strong account management skills, provide customer feedback to product management, and maintain CRM records while delivering accurate sales forecasts.
Requirements: The successful candidate will possess the following:
- A strong business acumen, able to identify and to empathise with business critical problems and to be able to articulate a clear and powerful value proposition.
- An understanding of the different steps involved in a sales cycle and how to leverage each stage in the sales cycle to advance the sale
- A formal understanding of solution/consultative selling and strong cold calling and prospecting skills
- A proven ability to prospect and manage a designated vertical territory to maximise revenue growth
- Existing key contacts in the retail or property development industry
- A sense of driving projects to closure, and a positive, winning attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
Background and Experience:
- Bachelor degree a strong asset but not required
- 5+ years experience in business-to-business consultative selling in the software industry, preferably managing major account sales cycles to global Fortune 1000 organisations
- Experience in web based technologies with experience in retail management a strong asset
- Experience in some of the following sectors:- Retail, Financial Services, Property Development and Construction
