Responsibilities: 

In this role you will apply your web development skills to build leading edge and cross platform mobile technology for Zavanti’s leading edge retail management solutions.  You must be able to develop feature rich technology with a modern and easy to use mobile interface to ensure a positive and successful mobile user experience.

Requirements:

- Must have the ability to design, develop, and implement commercially released applications for the various mobile platforms with attention to usability detail and the overall user experience
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem solving skills
- The ability to organize and work around changing priorities, under tight deadlines, and on multiple simultaneous projects.
- Must be able to conduct research independently, design and develop new features as well as prototype new ideas
- Must develop high quality code that meets the requirements requested by product management

Background and Experience:

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Program Equivalent
- A  Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development with significant experience in mobile development for the leading mobile platforms
- Must have solid expertise in various web and mobile web applications development using AJAX, HTML, DHTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, SQL, PHP, Java, JSP, MySQL, CGI, PERL, UML, Python, .NET, LAMP.
- A Strong knowledge of object oriented programming and Cross platform experience
- Solid understanding of security driven mobile development
- Experience with retail management and financial solutions a strong asset
