Responsibilities:  To design, develop, and implement efficient and effective methods of testing and troubleshooting Zavanti software, systems and equipment.  This role is key to ensuring Zavanti reaches the goal of ensuring high customer satisfaction as product quality is critical to customer success.  This role requires a disciplined individual who is able to learn new products quickly and work on multiple projects with changing priorities.  The successful candidate will strive to release quality products while ensuring functionality is in line with customer documentation and Product Management specifications.  This candidate must have a passion for delivering world class software.

Requirements: The successful candidate must be detail oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work through the entire quality assurance lifecycle.  Strong interpersonal and communication skills are needed to work with all levels of the organisation and also with customers. A strong knowledge of software development methodologies and life cycles is needed with knowledge of Java and scripting languages and common databases. Ideal candidates must demonstrate that he/she is a highly organized team player capable of working independently while analysing, documenting and solving issues.

Background and Experience:

- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical Program Equivalent
- A minimum of 2 yrs testing experience in the software industry, preferably with web based applications
- A minimum of 2 yrs experience in developing detailed test scripts
- Experience performing integration, functionality, system, regression and user acceptance testing
- Experience with load and stress testing
- Experience with test automation is an asset
- Experience with retail and financial management systems a strong asset
