The Depreciation Schedule screen is the main selection screen for a majority of reports with the Fixed Assets Module. The Reports on the Depreciation Schedule Screen are similar to most of the reports available.
Following is a description of the fields in the Depreciation Schedule:

Print Or Preview |
Select either the Preview or Print Option once all other selections have been made. Its is also possible to print any or all of the pages previewed to the screen from the Preview option. The Preview option is particularly useful if the user does not need a printed copy of the details produced by the report, as it contains the exact same information as the printed format. |

Periods - From And To |
Select the from and to Periods by using the combo box selections as provided. To choose one period ensure that the Period is the same in both the from and to boxes. |

Assets - From And To |
Select the Asset groups required. The asset groups available will be those specified and created for the current company selection. Check the All box if all Asset groups are required. If you require specific Asset groups, uncheck the All box and select your options in the from and to combo boxes provided. |

Asset Codes - From And To |
Select the Asset codes required. The asset codes available will be those specified and created for the current company selection. Check the All box if all Asset codes are required. If you require specific Asset codes, uncheck the All box and select your options in the from and to combo boxes provided. |

Asset Types - From And To |
Select the Asset types required. The asset types available will be those specified and created for the current company selection. Check the All box if all Asset types are required. If you require specific Asset types, uncheck the All box and select your options in the from and to combo boxes provided. |

Location - From And To |
Select the Locations required. The Locations available will be those specified and created for the current company selection. Check the All box if all locations are required. If you require specific locations, uncheck the All box and select your options in the from and to combo boxes provided. |

Date Criteria |
Additional selection is provided by means of allowing the user to choose assets that have been Acquired or Disposed of, on or prior to and on or later than specified dates. In order to activate one or many of the above date selections, simply check the appropriate box and then enter the date(s) required. |

Report Layout |
The Report Layout Combo Box contains a list of available report layouts that can be used for the report you are working with. By Default each report has a basic report layout. See User Defined Report Maintenance for more information about how to create customised reports. |

Print To E-Mail |
The Print to E-mail Push Button allows the user to print a copy of the selected report into a new e-mail message. The report will be attached to your new e-mail message and you will need to fill in the receiver’s address details, message etc and then press the send button. The receiver can then open a copy of the report and view or print the contents. |

Print To File |
The Print to File Push Button allows the user to print the selected report as a file. ie. instead of printing a copy of the report to your printer it will send a copy of the report to a file so that you can reference or print that report at a later date. When you press on the Print to File Push Button a Dialogue Box will open up. Choose where you would like to save your file to, what you would like to save the file as ie InvoiceReport and then press save. When you would like to reopen your file just look for the directory where you saved the Report and look for the name of the report. |

Sorting |
Sorting Allows the user to define the database, column and order you wish to sort the report in. Sorting allows the user to determine in which sequence the report is to appear. The report can be sorted to read in order of Type, Location, or Group. i.e Type A to Type Z or Location A to Location Z. If a different sort sequence is required, select the sort type (Type, location, group) and then use the up and down arrows to modify the sequence. |
