Important Before you Begin.
Make sure you have done the following
•Backup Your Database NOW
•Run off any reports you require. i.e. Assets, Depreciation Schedule etc.
The End of Period function in the Fixed Assets performs the following maintenance tasks.
Changes the Fixed Assets current period forward one period. i.e. if you were closing January 2015, then February 2015 will be your new default period.
NOTE. January 2015 will remain open for further posting.

To perform an End of Period
1. Pull down the Special Menu using your mouse or the ALT-S speed Key, from the menu and choose the last option, End of Period (E - Speed Key)
2. Once you have made this choice you may be reminded to print some mandatory reports.
