You must download the Google Authenticator app for your mobile device from the relevant app store. This is required by the ATO to enable 2 factor authentication for all files submitted to the ATO. The app generates a secure random 6 figure code from a link read by your phone on the screen. Entry of this code is required to proceed.
1. Go to your app store
2. Search for Google
3. Select Google Authenticator app
4. Get the Google Authenticator app
