Files such as Electronic Plans and documents can be linked to a Contract. This creates a path to that external file which can then be opened directly from Contract Management.
1. Ensure that Contract Management is open

Select a Contract and click on Properties
For example click on the +
sign next to the job [Groundworks for Shed] and select the contract underneath
it
3. Click on the Links tab

Click on the Attach button located on the Toolbar
A standard windows
file dialog box will open

Navigate to the file you want to link to this contract, and click Open
For
example, it doesn’t matter which document we choose. However this document
may be a fax that we receive from the supplier, or client, or any other data
that we wish to link to this contract. For example choose one of the
Contract Management templates
6.
Select a Link Type if applicable
Click on the drop down box to view the
options. For example we will leave this entry empty
7. Enter notes for the document in the Notes column
8. For example, type in [Sample attached external document]
9. Click on OK to confirm
