Each computer using the Zavanti ERP software must be identified by a unique number (workstation ID), used to register that workstation on the database. It is recommended that companies maintain a list of all workstation IDs, updated by the system administrator every time a computer is added/removed from the network.
If there are duplicate workstation IDs, the first computer will be allowed to log in, the second will receive an error message advising them the system administrator will need to update the information. If this error occurs, the following topic advises where to find this unique number on the computer, and how to update it.
It is recommended that a qualified system administrator perform the following steps.
1. Go to windows > Start > run and type REGEDIT (you can also type this into SEARCH)
2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Zavanti Enterprise Resource Planning\Zavanti ERP\Zavanti Enterprise Resource Planning
3. Scroll down to the bottom and find WORKSTATION ID as shown
4. Workstation ID = xxxx (maximum of 4 characters)

Please check that you DO NOT have the same ID, or any other Zavanti user for that matter.

6. Double click

7. Change the value so all users have different ID
8. Click OK and SAVE, and EXIT REGEDIT
9. You will then need to restart your machine.
