For Power Writer to work correctly the ODBC drivers must be installed and the Environment Variable Path must be set correctly.
Power Writer is a dedicated report writer for the Zavanti ERP application. Power Writer’s strength lies in the ease of obtaining periodic information on any company, estate, stage, project or job in the Zavanti ERP system.
Power Writer exports information from Zavanti ERP to Excel. In Microsoft Excel, this data can be analysed and charted.
Power Writer depends on an Excel Template that is specified when the report is created. This is a standard Excel template where the sheet names and styles are set up to coincide with the Power Writer report. Usually the Excel templates used by Power Writer are stored in the Zavanti ERP Application folder on the Zavanti ERP server.
If the template does not exist in the location specified in the report, an error will occur and the report will not be generated. Please ensure the template type and location is correct.
