Since we have now added commitments (by the way of Purchase Orders) to our job, we must run the Job Analysis, Job charge analysis and Performance Analysis reports to see the position of the job.
1. Open the Job Costing module
2. Click on the Reports menu, choose Analysis Reports, Job, Detailed
3. Choose the
criteria for this report
to run this report on the Job we created for this
section. Click on the tick next to All for Jobs, and choose the [Job for Job
related Purchase Orders and Inventory]
4. Click Preview
5. Examine the report
6. Close the
report window
we will now run the Job Charge Analysis report. This shows
much we have charged for a particular job, as opposed to how much a job has cost
us
7. Click on the Reports menu, choose Analysis Reports, Job Charge, Detailed
8. Choose the
criteria for this report
Click on the tick next to All for Jobs, and choose
the [Job for Job related Purchase Orders and Inventory]
9. Click Preview
10. Examine the report, and
close the report window
We will now have a look at the Job Performance
Analysis report, this report gives us an overview of budget, variations,
purchase orders, contracts and all other commitment against this job, as well as
forecast figures
11. Click on the Reports menu, choose Analysis Reports, Job Performance
12. Choose the report
criteria
click on the tick next to All for Jobs and choose the [Job for Job
related Purchase Orders and Inventory]
13. Click Preview
14. Examine the report, and close the report window
