The user must first select the PINT file that is to be used to store the PINT settings.
This is done through the Company Maintenance function. The user must select the required file from the drop down list below, or enter the file location and name into the required field (e.g. L:\PINTLOD.INI)
If a PINT file does not already exist the user can simply create a BLANK file using Notepad or WordPad with an extension of “.ini” in order for it to be selected in this list. The file name can be as required (e.g. PINTFrench.ini, PINTDeveloper.ini). The new PINT file must be stored on the “L” drive.

The same PINT file can be used for multiple companies. This way a specific PINT file created by Zavanti can then also be distributed to required users. For example a PINT file has been created that has all “French” translation can be distributed to all required users and set up as above for those entities that require “French”.
The user can then check the ‘Use this file for System Maintenance’ in order to save any changes to the Systems Maintenance windows PINT settings into the selected file. The system will only allow this option to be selected against 1 entity at a time.
In a multi-company, multi-lingual environment a PINT file can be utilised for each company in the required language.
