The Integration system consists of 2 parts, the first being the Integration Server application (ISMAIN.EXE). The second being the Integration Maintenance front end application (IGMAIN.EXE)
The Integration Server Application processes the ‘incoming’ and creates the ‘outgoing’ XML documents.
In order for the integration to work, this application must be set to run after all the default settings have been provided.
The background application ISMAIN.EXE can be started manually, each time the integration process is required, or set to run as a MS windows service, so that it runs when the application server is started.
To run this application, simple run the ISMAIN.EXE in the L:\ folder (from the server). If successful you can see this application run in TASK MANAGER. The application does not interact with the desktop.
Alternatively, you can set this exe up to run as a service. Please consult your Systems Administrator regarding this setup.
