
A number of new data fields have been added to the Conditions of employment tab

All employees will now be assigned to an Income Stream as per ATO categories. In the majority of cases this will be SAW (Salaries and Wages). Users will need to ensure they understand the use of the other categories based on ATO requirements.

All employees will be assigned to a Tax Treatment code. Users will need to ensure they understand the use of the what Tax Treatment Codes are allowed to each Income Stream based on ATO guidelines.
The Study Training and Support Loan, Medicare Levy Surcharge, Medicare Levy Exemption and Medicare Levy Reduction selections also have rules in relation to Income Stream and Tax Category. Users will need to ensure they understand what selections are allowed based on ATO guidelines.

Termination Type is a compulsory data field which must be selected when an employee is terminated based on the ATO assigned types displayed above.
Previous Payroll ID has been included to allow identification and linking of a previously terminated employee so that the ATO can identify them within the same financial year if required.

Basis of Employment (tax details tab) now has compulsory ATO categories for selection.

When Voluntary Agreement is selected the ABN number should be entered on the Conditions of Employment tab
