1.  Review Submitted Request

Access the Work Request in ‘New’ status

Review all provided information

Assess the nature of the work required

2.  Determine Appropriate Work Request Type Decision Matrix:

Choose DEFECTS if:

Property is within Defect Liability Period

Issue relates to construction defects

Builder/developer responsibility

Choose DEFERRED if:

Work cannot be undertaken immediately

Scheduling conflicts exist

Seasonal timing required (e.g., external painting)

Access issues prevent immediate work

Choose INVESTIGATION if:

Scope of work is unclear

Multiple solutions need evaluation

Technical assessment required

Cost estimation needed before proceeding

Choose LEASEHOLD if:

Property owned by private landlord

Landlord maintains Maintenance responsibility

Not Organisation-owned Property

Choose THM if:

Property falls under THM Housing Sub-Programs

Work coordination required with DFFH

Transitional housing management applies

Choose STRATA if:

Property part of Body Corporate

Common area Maintenance required

Building-wide issue affecting multiple units

Strata management coordination needed
