When the app is in Online mode (indicated by a black background on the Online toggle), Inspections are displayed on the Online tab. In this mode, the app shows real-time Inspection data retrieved directly from Zavanti Housing.
Refreshing Inspections
To ensure you have the latest information, tap ‘Get Inspections from server’. This will refresh the list and retrieve any newly created Inspections. Only Inspections where your user account is listed in the ‘Inspected By’ field will appear, these are referred to as ‘My Inspections.’
Creating a New Inspection
Users can also create new Inspections by tapping the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen, searching for a Property, and completing the Inspection details. Newly created Inspections will also appear in the Online list.
Downloading an Inspection
Inspections shown in Online mode can be selected and downloaded for offline use when preparing to conduct Inspections in areas with limited or no connectivity.
Before downloading an Inspection from Zavanti Housing, ensure that the Inspection form includes all locations and assets associated with the Property. If the Inspection was created recently, allow a short time for all Locations and Assets to populate before proceeding.
When preparing for off-site Inspections, first review the Inspection details as described above. Then, in Online mode, tap Get Inspections from server, search for the relevant Property, and select the Inspection you wish to download.
To download an Inspection, swipe slightly left on the Inspection record and tap ‘Download Inspection’.
When an Inspection is successfully downloaded, a green check mark and a ‘Downloaded’ tag will appear on the Inspection. This Inspection will then disappear from the Online list and be shown under the Offline mode.
