It is possible to save the ABA files in a secure location as established by System Users.
Only System Users can define these locations and non-system users are not able to change the file location. In order to achieve this, the Accounts Payable Bank file creation location is maintained as part of the systems administration task and therefore removed from the actual Payment Run process that creates this ABA file for banking upload. The Bank file path has to be added to the user’s profile setting. This way only the systems admin can set up a restricted (automated and unchangeable by anyone other than IT administrators) file location. If the user then wants to move/delete/copy the file, they can only do so if they have windows security rights.
