New input items have been added to the Report Writer templates used with the Financial Report Writer e.g. Profit and Loss report. The new input items allow the user to print the date range selected on the report in a separate field from the existing 'Conditions' currently shown.
If the user has their own customised Report Writer templates (rw*.qrp) the 2 new input items must be added manually using the report builder tool. You will need to notify Zavanti Support prior to upgrading to 8.5 if you have any concerns about your report writer templates, or if you would like Zavanti to modify your templates.
The 2 new report input items added are:
1. Dates - String type
2. Show Cond - Number type (not currently implemented)
The new "Dates" input item can be used to display the report selection, rather than the current "Conditions" field. Please note these new fields do not appear by default on standard financial reports, and the layouts have not been modified.
