It is fundamental that the user has a sound knowledge of the Job Costing system within the Zavanti ERP, and the process of managing the different types of Jobs within the system. Knowledge of the Task Management functionality ‘PRIOR’ to Version 9 would be a benefit.
The TASK Management functionality provides the users with ability to maintain ‘Tasks’ or sets of Tasks that can be then applied to a Job. This is designed to enable the user to track the Start and Finish times of each task, produce reports to track the progress and performance of these jobs at Task level, and to create Client Claims at this ‘Task’ level rather than using the Cost Centre based claims.
It is essential that the user identifies the types of tracking required for each job and whether or not the ‘Task’ based management of a particular job is suitable.
