Once we have created a quote, we can change it into a sales order. We do not have to re-enter it, just change its status. This section covers how to change a Sales order quote to a Sales Order
1. Ensure Sales Orders is open
2. Right click on the quote
3. Choose Create an Order From
4. Ensure the correct client is select, and click OK
5. Click OK to save
this quote as a Sales Order
a message will appear requesting whether we want
the quote kept as a template. Depending on the quote, this may save us a great
deal of time and effort at a later date. If we choose Yes, this quote will
appear in the quotes, ready for us to use at a later date, and also be changed
to a sales order
6. Click No
7. Click OK then cancel to close the windows, leaving the Sales Orders module open
8. Click Refresh,
then double click Unfilled/Uninvoiced Orders
The order we just created from
the quote will be listed
