Entering Interest Costs via Funding Journal

•      Access the Function: Use the funding journal function.

•      Select Type: Enter an "interest type" journal.

•      Specify Value: Input the value of interest to date for each project linked to the facility.

•      Dissect Costs: You must dissect the cost to the appropriate cost centre within the development ledger.

•      Ledger Impact: This action automatically generates a journal entry in the development ledger, which will become part of your project's opening balances. This is why interest was not entered with other initial balances.
