The picking slip feature of Zavanti allows you to give the warehouse staff a slip of items that need to be picked from the warehouse, without having to give staff the sales order. We can only create a picking slip from a sales order that has been created with the Picking Slip check box switched on. Therefore to complete this exercise, we will create a new sales order, and set it to keep track of picking slip information and delivery Notes.
1. Ensure Sales Orders is open
2. Click New
3. Ensure the Transaction Type is Sales Order
4. Check the box for
Picking Slips and Delivery Notes
If we do not check these boxes, the picking
slips and delivery notes features will not be available to us
5. Click OK
6. Choose a client and click OK
7. Click on the Detail tab, and click Add Line
8. Enter a Product,
Qty, Qty Del and Price
Click OK to save this Sales order, choose Printing
options if prompted
9. Click Cancel, we will not create anther sales order at this time
10. Click Refresh, and view the Sales order we have just created
11. Right click on this sales order, and choose Print Picking Slip
12. Choose the print settings
13. The Delivery docket will be printed
