Customers can enter Sales Orders even if the delivery date falls in a period which is not yet available in the software. For example, an order may be processed for June 30, with a delivery date of July 15. If July is still marked as “Future” as per the period maintenance in Systems Maintenance, the user would need to perform an End of Period to make July available before entering the order.
The software has now been enhanced to allow users to enter Sales Orders with a delivery date in a future period.
