Once we have put through many sales orders, we can enquire of our stock levels.
The inventory system records movements on a FIFO basis. FIFO is an acronym for First in First Out. This refers to how the stock moves. The first item in the warehouse is the first to be moved.
1. Open Inventory in Tree View
2. Select the Item you would like to enquire on
3. Click on the
Movement tab
Examine the data here, this displays the current stock levels
and how many of this item we have left in stock
4. Click on the
Transactions tab
Examine the data kept here. This will display all of the
transactions for this Item
5. Click on the
FIFO tab
Examine the data here
6. Click on the Reports menu, choose Stock Valuation report
7. Make your choices for the report
8. Click
Preview
Examine the report
9. Close the report window
