Tax Table Maintenance

The Payroll Module is delivered with pre-loaded tax table information that specifies the different tax scales that are available from the system. Should there be a change in taxation legislation, or you need to maintain the details, the Maintenance function allows you to modify or create new details.

Updated tax tables will be provided in Service Pack updates for all clients on current Support and Maintenance Agreements at the time that they become effective. You will only need to make manual alterations if you do not have a current Support and Maintenance Agreement.

1.  Select a menu path Maintenance Ø Tax Table.

2.  To create a new Tax Scale, press the ‘New’ button.

Name

Description

Scale Id

Enter a unique identifier.

HELP

This is used if the scale is related to a Higher Education Contribution Scheme (HELP) debt.

Description

Enter information relating to the Pay Scale. Enter some text pertaining to the pay scale.
