Creating Trade Groups, Trade and Cost Centres in the Job Costing module for Users in the Construction Industry

When creating Cost Centres for the Job costing module there are 3 levels to be considered.

 

      Trade Group   This is the highest level and determines the rules for the Trades and their associates cost centres.

      Trade  The Trade level is the Summary level for Cost Centres and is used only for reporting purposes.  Invoice costs cannot be processed at this level.

      Cost Centre    This is the level which will allow for Budgets and Transactions to be processed.
