If a Tenant causes damage to a Property or Inventory Item, whether by accident or wilfully, they are liable for the repair costs. The Maintenance Team can initiate a Tenant Damage Request via an open Work Task to seek reimbursement from a Tenant (or a Third Party) for works that have occurred or need to occur. If the Work Task has already been closed, the Maintenance Team will Contact the Housing Team directly to raise a Tenant Damage Request from the Tenancy. In this process, you will either receive or create the Tenant Damage Request, send it for approval and then send the invoice to the Tenant.
