The archiving module allows users to archive various transactions by copying the existing database, and removing transactions which don’t fit the selection criteria as specified by the user. The transactions which remain in the new database are then removed from the live database. As a result the live database size is reduced, allowing for efficient maintenance of the database and improved response times when retrieving information for users through reports, search functions etc.
When selecting the criteria for what is to be archived, users are presented with the following options. Please note – the transactions to be archived will only be completed for those which fall in a period prior to or including the selected audited period.
