Work Tasks are instructions to complete a scope of work for which the Maintenance Contractor will be paid to complete the work (as opposed to Work Requests that do not incur an invoice). Work Tasks include Schedule of Works (SOW) codes. These include the approved costs for the work with the Maintenance Contractor, meaning that the total cost is known before the Work Task is sent.

The Maintenance Team create and manage Work Tasks, but you can still view existing Work Tasks for your Tenancies and Properties. This is handy if you want to see the status of a Work Task or which issues have been included.
You will also be able to review Work Tasks where the Maintenance Team have indicated that the Tenant is liable for the cost of repairing the damage.
